This funny, active, exhausting little boy is my inspiration for all that I do. He's the reason I get up in the morning and the reason I am up working hard until 1am most nights. I want to be a better person for him. I want to be a harder worker for him. And I want to DO more, all because of him.

I've been thinking a lot about #givingtuesday today, especially now that I'm officially an operating small business, and what is my role in our community, our society, our world. I've had an idea to give how I can in those arenas for some time now but have always let what end up being trivial aspects of life get in the way. My boy, as well as another little boy I'll mention later if this all works out, in all his quirkiness and wit has reminded me by only his sheer existence that the time is NOW to figure out these logistics I've been setting aside.

Yes, this is a tease. But I don't want to get my hopes up just yet. I need to find the right people to contact first and get the ball rolling. Expect to hear more from me on this soon!
